Good morning all, I want to thank you all who have reached out and checked on me since my last post was Easter Sunday. All is well, I'm taking a little break and will be back on 1 June. This morning, I solicit your prayers as I take some time to spend with God. Quickword was birthed out of my morning daily devotional that I was led to share for some 600 consecutive days. I'm taking a break as I want to ensure what I'm sharing with you is not from me but from God. This quiet time is allowing me to hear from Him. This morning I'm lead to share with you where I find myself. I find myself being anxious about somethings in my life. Maybe I'm the only one who finds themselves anxious. Anxious about the state of our country, anxious about the welfare of my child and grandchildren, anxious about God's ministry for me, anxious about the health of family members and friends, anxious about the well being of persons who are sitting in the seat of bereavement, anxious about finances, anxious about this and anxious about that. Yet, until I return on June 1st, the Quickword encourages you and I this morning to be anxious about nothing.
Be anxious for nothing but pray about everything
Be anxious for nothing but with thanksgiving let our request be made known to God
Be anxious for nothing, let the peace of God guard our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
