Beautiful Feet

Romans 10:14

14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written:

“How beautiful are the feet of those who[b]preach the gospel of peace,Who bring glad tidings of good things!”

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our report?” 17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Quickword: Beautiful Feet

During the month of September, members of the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of San Antonio pause and celebrate the Pastoral Ministry of our Pastor and First Lady, Rev. Dr. Kenneth R. Kemp and First Lady Velma Willoughby Kemp. This text in Romans, the Apostle Paul states “ How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, Who bring glad tidings of good things!

  • How shall we believe in Him in whom we have not heard?

  • How shall we know without a preacher?

  • How shall they preach unless they are sent?

This month we honor God as we celebrate and acknowledge the ministry of the man and woman of God who lead us by example and the preaching of God’s word. We thank you for beautiful feet which carry the good news of the gospel, we thank you beautiful feet that comfort us in time of need, we thank you for beautiful feet that always go the extra mile during the good and the bad times. So this month we celebrate Pastor and First Lady Kemp for thirteen years of Pastoral Leadership, thank you both for always keeping the main thing the main thing.
