John 4 28-30
28 The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men, 29 “Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” 30 Then they went out of the city and came to Him.

Whenever you have the opportunity, please read this story of the Samaritan woman who meets Jesus at Jacobs well found in John Chapter 4: 1-38. I don’t have the space to tell the whole story here. Jesus in the heat of the day, tired and thirsty found himself at Jacobs well! You see He left Judea headed to Galilee but when you read the above mentioned text, it will tell you that he needed to go through Samaria and he stopped in the city of Sychar at Joseph’s well. Here, he encounters a woman at the well who was not Jewish. Jesus engaged her in conversation. That‘s not a big deal today but during this time, men didn’t talk directly to women, especially women of a different race. Jesus asked her for a drink of water and she replies, you have nothing to draw water with. Jesus tells us, I will give you water and you will never thirst again. The woman said, give me some of that water!!!! Jesus asked the woman to go get her husband and she confessed that she did not have one. Jesus further tells her, you have spoken correctly, you have had five husbands and the man you are with now is not your husband. I can’t tell the whole story but after her encounter with Jesus, the women left her water pots, ran into the town crying out to the people come see a man who told me everything I have ever done.
- Jesus is not a respecter of persons, he came so that the whole world could be set free!
- An authentic encounter with Jesus will change your life to the point that you are compel to invite others to meet the Christ.
- The people of the town came to see Jesus, he stayed with them for two more days and because of His presence, because of their personal encounters with the man, many others believed in Him.
My brothers and my sisters, I’m looking for somebody who has had an authentic encounter with the Savior of the World. I know that if God has done anything for you, you want mind helping me by being a witness by telling someone today, Come, See a Man who told me everything I have ever done. In spite of who we are and what we have done, Come see a man who knows all about us and in spite of knowing all of our shortcomings, all of our sins, left the glory of Heaven, came into the world to be a living sacrifice for you and for me! Come, See A Man.….Come See A Man! His name is Jesus and He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. Come See A Man, He is a healer, Come, see a man, He is a deliverer, Come, He is a way maker, Come, don’t procrastinate, Come See A Man, your life will never be the same!!!
