Romans 5:6-8
6 For when we were still without strength, [d]in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Quickword: He Paid It All
On yesterday at the Antioch Baptist Church, we were blessed by Rev. Patrick Stewart from the sermonic topic, I'd this the Love of God. In this Quickword this morning, I find myself still being feed by the word fromyesterday. Simply stated, the love of God paid it all.
Christ died for the ungodly
Scarcely for a righteous man will one die: But God
While we we yet Sinners, Christ died for us.
The grace, mercy and love of God is indescribable: He paid it all for you and for me. While we are so unworthy, God love is so much that He sent His only son as a ransom for our sins. The penalty for our sins have been paid; we have been redeemed by the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ. He paid it all and is worthy of our praise.
