Hold On A Little While Longer…

Isaiah 40:29-31

29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,And the young men shall utterly fall, 31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.

Quickword: Hold On A Little While Longer…

I am tremendously blessed daily by persons who respond either on this post thread or directly through the Quickword page. Lately in many of your responses , I’ve heard the sentiments of you being wearied or tired. The responses have ranged from being tired of what seems to be a never ending battle of being seen and heard. Tired of politicians saying one thing and implementing policies that are totally opposite from their words. Tired of the struggle of trying to make ends met, tired of the increased cost of the basic necessities of life. Tired of the attempts to whitewash history. Today's Quickword is simply a hopeful word to encourage you to just hold on a little while longer. Hold on a little while longer because:

- The Lord gives power to the weak.

- The youth and young will become weary and fall but it’s temporary

- Those who wait on the Lord, their strength shall be renewed.

My brothers and my sisters the struggle is real. The daily challenges of life can drain even the strength of the strongest believer. It’s not that your faith has failed, but the reality is many of us are just tired. I encourage you today to just hold on a little while longer. God knows exactly where we are and what we are going through. I must confess, today I’m tired. I’m tired physically, mentally and to be completely honest spiritually, yet the word of the Lord reminds me today that if you and I can hold on a little while longer, our strength will be renewed. We shall run and not be weary, We shall walk and not faint. I’m praying for you and I ask that you pray for me that we all may hold on just a little while longer. Those who wait on the Lord, our strength shall be renewed.
