Psalms 37: 9-12
9 For evildoers shall be [b]cut off;
But those who wait on the Lord,
They shall inherit the earth.
10 For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more;
Indeed, you will look carefully for his place,
But it shall be no more.
11 But the meek shall inherit the earth,
And shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

Dear God in Heaven, once again we find ourselves extending prayers as a result of another mass killing of innocent children and educators at the The Covenant School in Nashville Tennessee. God, how long will we put politics over the precious life of men, women and children. God, how long will we stand by while those in power do nothing to protect the most vulnerable among. God, I beseech you in the name of Jesus to be with family of those who were killed unnecessarily at the Covenant School. I pray that you give these families a peace that surpasses all understanding in the loss of these innocent persons. I pray now that you will guide persons at the National, State and local levels who have power to affect change that will at a minimum decrease this kind of violence that we continue to see in this nation. God, I asked that you intercede as only you can. Evildoers shall be cut off, But those who wait on the Lord shall inherit the earth. Lord, please put a hedge of protection around those who put their trust in you.
