It’s Not Over Until God Says It’s Over…

Proverbs 3:5-6

5Trust in the Lord with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

6 In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall [a]direct your paths.

Quickword: It’s not over until God says it’s over.

Over the last few weeks I’ve encountered some people due to the their current situations and circumstances that were on the brink of giving up. I learned a longtime ago that what may seem not to be overwhelming to one person may cause someone else to go into despair. The situations and circumstances of life affect us differently. In this brief Quickword today, I want to encourage someone who maybe at the point of giving up simply by reminding all of us, that it’s not over until God says its over. The writer of this very familiar passage of scripture gives us hope when we are ready to give up.

- Trust in the Lord completely, with all of our heart

- Lean not on our own understanding

- Acknowledge God in all of our ways

- God will direct our paths

My brothers and my sisters, whatever you are going through today, I want you to know it’s not over until God says it over. Trust, lean, and acknowledge who God is. The marriage is not over, I know what the Dr’s said but it’s not over, you maybe praying for a spouse, child, sibling , or friend who is caught up in something that it seems impossible for them to get out of favorable. The loss of a love one can send us spiraling, its not over. All I know is that it’s not over until God says it over. God still heals, God still delivers, God still provides, God still performs miracles, God is still God all by himself. It’s not over until God says it’s over!
