Keep Doing Good…

Galatians 6:9-10

9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Quickword: Keep Doing Good…

This scripture in Galatians although written hundreds of years ago is a word of encouragement for you and I today. I know that many of us are running on empty. We have endured a global pandemic, we have witness an increase of violence in our nation most notably mass shootings. We see the growing divide almost on a daily basis in our country among political, racial and economic lines. It is enough to

make one want to give up. The writer of Galatians sends us a reminder this morning to keep doing good in spite of what we are facing. Keep doing good…

- In spite of the burdens we carry

- In due season we shall reap if we don’t give up

- To everyone, especially those of the household of faith

Today, I asked that you check on your strong friend or family member. You know the one that looks out for everyone. Let’s make sure that persons is doing ok. Pray for your Pastor and others who minister unto you. We are in this together! This text does not say we will not get tired, it encourages us that when we are tired to keep doing good and not lose heart! I know we are going to make it. Why am I so confident that we are going to make it? I know because we serve a God who can and will see us through.
