Philippians 413-14
13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have [d]apprehended; but one thing I do,forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Quickword: Keep Pressing
Today has been a busy day and I almost decided to take a day off from the Quickword because it was late. As I thought about it, I realize that Satan comes to still, kill and destroy. If I didn't press, and I would not posted today and Satan would have won. I just decided that I was going to press my way through. I don't know about you but I've just made up my mind that I'm going to press my way through no matter what.
I'm doing ok but I know I have not apprehended (succeeded)
I've made up my mind that I'm forgetting those things which are behind me.
I'm going to press my way towards the mark of the High calling in Christ Jesus.
Please forgive my tardiness of today's post. The devil almost got me , did y'all catch that; he ALMOST got me today, but I'm pressing my way. Beloved it, whatever obstacles that are in your way, just keep pressing. Keep pressing raising your children, keep pressing working on your marriage, keep pressing toward the degree, keep pressing in your business, keep pressing in your ministry...there will be some days like today like me , when the devil will distract yiu but keep pressing. Have a phenomenal evening. Matter of fact, I'm going to press my way to the Antioch Baptist Church prayer revival tonight and give God thanks for the strength to keep pressing!
