Let’s Pray…

Our Father who is the maker and creator of all things. We come before your throne of grace acknowledging that you are God all by yourself. God we ask today that you will be with persons who are dealing with the impacts of storms which have devastated their lives causing loss of life and property. God, show us how we help those who find themselves in need today.

God we pray for those who today are under the threat of tornados and other storms. Protect as only you can. God we pray even now for those who are facing the storms of life. The loss of a spouse, child, parent or sibling. Storms of a medical diagnosis, storms of a financial burden, storms of an unsafe home life, storms of addiction, storms of anxiety, storms of depression.

God you know what we all are facing but your word teaches us to cast all of our cares upon you because you care for us. God, we come to you this morning because we know you still have all power in your hand. Watch over us in this day in the name of Jesus. Amen.
