Let’s Pray Together

Matthew 18:19-20

19 “Again[d]I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask,it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

20 For where two or three are gatheredtogether in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”

Quickword: Let‘s Pray Together

This morning my brothers and sisters, I ask in this Quickword space that you join me in prayer. This text teaches us that:

- When we agree in prayer anything that we ask will be done by the father in Heaven according to His will.

- There is power when the children of God pray together in agreement

- When we collectively come together in the name of Jesus, He is in the midst.

Let‘s Pray: Dear God in Heaven, the God who is the maker and creator of all things in Heaven and on earth. We come humbly before your throne of Grace in the name of Jesus. We thank you first for your Grace and your Mercy. We bring before you all of all cares and concerns. We intercede on behalf of those who need you in a mighty way. We ask that you touch those who are sick and need your healing touch. Touch those who are dealing with cancer and other conditions, touch those who hearts are weak. We pray now for those who will undergo surgery today. God, we pray for those who will bring new life into the world and for those who are facing the end of life. God I ask that in the name of Jesus that whoever encounters this Quickword, that you will be with them. God I pray that you will provide and protect them. I pray that you will bless and keep them. God I pray that today you will draw us closer to you and even in those moments of concern that your Spirit will remind us that you are with us and that you will never leave us or forsake us. We come praying together in agreement bringing these petitions before you in the name of Jesus! Amen.
