John 13:34-35
34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Quickword: Love One Another
There will come a time in all of our lives that we will need the love and support of our families, friend, church or even a stranger. I want to suggest that in our current environment, the need for love is more needed than ever. Today if you have the love snd support of others, my brothers and sisters, we are blessed. There are so many among us who are dealing with the ups snd downs of life alone. This text in John 13 calls for us to love one another.
- The command to Love one another comes directly from the Lord.
- We are commanded to love one another as the Lord has loved us.
- Our actions towards one another is evidence that we are disciples of Christ.
My brothers and sisters, as you navigate today’s journey, look for opportunities to show the love of Christ that is within us. Maybe there is an elderly neighbor who needs groceries, maybe there is a single parent that needs a break, maybe there is a friend that you haven’t been in touch with in a while, maybe you know of someone who is going through a hard time right now. Let the Holy Spirit guide you today that you may demonstrate the Love of Christ that dwells within you. I just believe if you show love, love will find you!
