Mountain Moving Faith

Mark 11:22-25

22 So Jesus answered and said to them, “Have faith in God.

23 Forassuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.

24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

Quickword: Mountain Moving Faith

In this text in Mark, the spiritual authority of Jesus was being questioned. Jesus responsed to these questions of his authority by saying to the naysayers“Have Faith In God”. This morning I believe many of you who will read this post are also facing some naysayers. You have dreams, goals and aspirations that seem to be unattainable to others but you have Mountain Moving Faith! Mountain Moving Faith calls us…

- To say to the Mountains in our lives to move from our hearts.

- To to have faith in God, to not doubt but believe the things the Lords says will come to pass.

- To believe that what you ask in the name of Jesus will come to fruition.

In order to move the mountains out of our paths, we must recognize that we cannot move them on our own. As believers in God, we can pray to in, in the name of Jesus and whatever we ask if we believe and it’s in the will of God we will receive. I was recently reminded and encouraged by my wife to ask God for the impossible; there is nothing to hard for God. The question is do we have the faith to move mountains?
