Matthew 17:20-21 20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your[e]unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 [f]However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”

Quickword: Mountain Moving Faith

In the gospel of Matthew, chapter 17, verses 20-21, we find Jesus responding to a question raised by His disciples about their inability to heal the son of a man who was an epileptic and suffered severely; for this young man often fell into the fire and into the water. This man brought his son to Jesus and said to him: I brought my son to your disciples, but they could not cure him.” Jesus had the the young man brought to Him, He then rebuked the spirit in the young man and he was made whole. The disciples came to Jesus privately and asked why could we not cast out this demon? Jesus responded that it is because of your unbelief; if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.

Our lack of faith hinders us from providing healing for persons in need.

Mountain Moving Faith will cause mountains to moved.

Mountain Moving Faith comes through fasting and praying.

There are issues in our lives that have become mountains. The question being do we have faith to move those mountains. Do we trust God enough that bills are paid; do we have faith enough in God that we and others are healed; Do we have enough faith to know that everything will work out for our good if we just believe. Mountain Moving Faith, Faith the size of a mustard seed is all that we need.
