When was the last time you just took a moment and reflected in the goodness of God? I know in the fast paced world that we live in that it is often difficult to find time to just sit still and reflect on God. Here in the 136th Psalm, I believe the writer found a moment in time to think about God and he began to give God praise.

- Oh Give Thanks unto the Lord for He is good.

- Oh Give Thanks unto the Lord for He is the God of gods.

- Oh Give Thanks unto the Lord for His mercy endures forever.

My brothers and my sisters, I don’t know what God has done for you, yet I know He has done something. If you are reading this post, it’s because He woke you up this morning. If you are reading this little message, it’s because He gives you eyes to see. If we are honest, all of us have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, yet we are here because His mercy endures forever. If you get a chance, take some time and reflect on what God has done for you and who He is. If you take a moment, I believe you will join the Psalmist and I and cry out in praise; Oh Give Thanks unto the Lord for He is good and worthy to be praised!
