Redeemed By God!

Isaiah 43 1-2

1 But now, this is what the Lord says—

he who created you, Jacob,

he who formed you, Israel:

“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;

I have summoned you by name; you are mine.

2 When you pass through the waters,

I will be with you;

and when you pass through the rivers,

they will not sweep over you.

When you walk through the fire,

you will not be burned;

the flames will not set you ablaze.

Quickword: Redeemed By God!

Isaiah 43 verses 1-2 are words of encouragement to every believer. This Psalm reminds us of the blessing of being in relationship with with the almighty God. It’s personal, as we are reminded who God is. He is God who created and formed us, He is God who has redeemed us, He is God who knows our name and calls us His own. As a result we can be assured of the protection we have as children of God.

- When we pass through the waters, He is with us

- When we pass through the river, they will not sweep us away

- When we walk through the fire, we will not be burned or set ablaze.

The reasons we are secure is that we belong unto the Lord and the Lord knows our names. He knows us individually and collectively and because of His connection with us, He knows what we need. Even today take comfort in whatever situation or circumstances that we may find ourselves that we have been redeemed by God himself. I just believe everything is going to be all right! We have been redeemed!
