Ephesians 6:12-13
12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [c]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hostsof wickedness in the heavenly places.13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Quickword: Suit Up, Stand and Pray
I am certain that the conflicts that we face individually and collectively to include the unnecessary loss of innocent life in Ukraine will be resolved. I am not sure how these conflicts will be resolved but I’m certain that as believers in Christ, we will be victorious. While we wait on the ultimate victory, we need to suit up, put on the whole army of God, pray and stand.
- Gird your waist with truth
- Put on the breastplate of righteousness
- Place our feet in shoes ready to carry the Gospel to all who will hear.
- Take the shield of Faith to deflect the fiery darts of the enemy
- Put on the Helmet of Salvation
- Take the Sword of the Holy Spirit which is the Word of God.
My beloved brothers and sisters, again I confess, I’m don’t know how the current conflicts both in the United States and around the world will be resolved. What I do proclaim today is that as children of the most high God, the victory will be won. Today, we suit up with the whole armor of God, Stand and Pray.
Dear God in Heaven,God who is omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent. I come to the throne of Grace asking that you intercede in the conflicts around the world. God, I know with certainty that at some point and time , You will defeat the enemy. God I asked that you strengthen us during this time, help us to suit up, stand and pray in the name of Jesus.
