Psalms 100 (NKJV)

1 Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands.

2 Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

3 Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.

5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Psalms 100 is a favorite Psalms of mine. Here we find the Psalmist encouraging himself and others to come before the Lord with a joyful noise, to serve the Lord with gladness to come before His presence with singing. You see the Psalmist recognized something about the Lord that I pray we see in this season of thanksgiving; that being that the Lord faithfulness. You see my brothers and sisters in a very simplistic description; the Lord shows up for us everyday. The Lord is present, He is present in the morning, He is present at the noon day hour, The Lord is present in the evening and late at night. We should give the Lord thanks and praise for His faithfulness. Not only is the Lord present but the Psalmist reminds us of the blessings of the His presence; the Lord is....

The Lord's mercy is everlasting

The Lord's truth endureth to all generations

In this Quickword, I just want to thank God for His faithfulness. The Lord shows up even when we don't show up for Him. The Lord is faithful to us from our very existence until the end of time. The Lord never leaves us or forsakes us. I'm at a point in my life now that I've lived long enough that I can look back over my life and see the faithfulness of the Lord. The Lord has been with me and with you every step of the journey. When family and friends have been inconsistent or perhaps vanished, the Lord's steadfast faithfulness has been a constant presence. I thank God for His faithfulness. I enter this brand new day into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: let us be thankful unto him, and bless his name.!
