This Psalm captures my anticipation of being in Worship today. David the Psalmist and others as they made the pilgrimage to Jerusalem, made the journey with excitement and enthusiasm. I can only imagine the joy that filled his hearts and the others as they made their way to Jerusalem into the house of the Lord.
Entering into the House of the Lord should make us glad.
When we enter into the House of the Lord, we should enter into that sacred space with great reverence.
As I prepare enter into the house of the Lord today, I can hardly contain myself with the anticipation of being in the Lord's presence.
My brothers and sisters, what a blessing it is to enter the House of the Lord. What a blessing it is to be able to gather together with the Saints of God collectively to Worship together. What a blessing it is to gather together in the singing of Songs, in the lifting of prayers, what a blessing it is to be able to give a offering, what a blessing it is to hear the word of God preached. If you can, I encourage you if at all possible to make it into the House of the Lord today. If you can't make it in person, make into the house virtually. I just believe in ther House of the Lord today; there is a blessing with you name on it!
