The Other Side Of Tribulation!

Revelation 7:13-17

13 Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”

14 And I said to him, [b]“Sir, you know.

So he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to [b] living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

Quickword: The Other Side of Tribulation!

Today we complete this series of Quickword devotions looking at Revelation chapters 6 & 7. We’ve examined the opening of the seven seals and the worthiness of the Lamb of God. As we close this series, John gives us a description of what is to come when those who make it through the tribulations will be clothed in white robes.

- The robes worn by those who have made it through the tribulations have been washed and made white by the blood of the Lamb.

- God will dwell among those who make it through the tribulations and those who are around the throne will serve Him day and night.

- Those who make it through the tribulations shall never thirst or hunger again, the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat, the Lamb of God shall shepherd them and lead them to fountains of living fountains of waters.

- God will wipe every tear from their eyes.

My beloved Sisters and Brothers, the tribulations of life seem in many cases overwhelming currently to many of us. An unprovoked attack against the people of Ukraine, no good options for the U.S to intervene, violent storms raging, racism, misogyny, the vestiges of white supremacy

still present, all of these things can be discouraging. Yet, for those who make it through the tribulations of life, God will eternally dwell among His people. The good news I leave with you today is that God is present with us even now. Hold on, keep trusting in God, we are going to make it in the name of Jesus!
