The Power Of Prayer

1st John 5: 14-15

14 Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Quickword: The Power of Prayer

As we come to the end of a very difficult week, we as believers are reminded of the power we have in prayer.

- There is power in prayer because we are confident in a all powerful God.

- There is power in prayer because we know anything that we ask according to His will, He hears us.

- There is power in prayer because we have know that our petitions have been granted according to Him.

My brothers and sisters, let us continue to cast all of our cares upon the one who who cares for us.

Dear God in Heaven, we come before your throne of Grace. We petition you today to be with families in Uvalde and Buffalo who deal with the tragic loss of loved ones. We pray now for those who have there to proved support services. God, we ask in the name of Jesus that your presence will provide a peace that will surpass all understanding to a situation that many of us cannot understand. God we now for your Grace and Mercy to be upon this country. We need your healing power, we need your comforting presence, we need your love to bridge the divides. God, please let your Spirit fall fresh upon us today in the name of Jesus. Amen
