Psalms 37:39-40

39 The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble.40 The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

Quickword: The Salvation of the Lord

Salvation is defined as a source of being saved from harm, ruin or loss. Theologically, salvation is defined as the deliverance from sin and its consequences; believed by Christians to be brought about by faith in Christ. Those who are in right relationship with God are blessed because:

- The Salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord.

- The Lord is our stronghold in time of trouble .

- The Lord helps and delivers those who take refuge in Him.

What a blessing it is to rest in the assurance of the Salvation of the Lord. He is our redeemer, He is our deliverer, He is our help in times of trouble. The Lord is our Salvation and He is worthy of all of our praise.
