Psalms 37:39-40

39 But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord;He is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the Lord shall help them and deliver them; He shall deliver them from the wicked, And save them, Because they trust in Him.

This is the final installment of the Quickword post under the theme: Unbothered. The 37th Psalms is full of words to encourage us as we deal with the vissitudes of life. Here in the final installment, the Psalmist proclaims that the Lord will save us because we trust in Him.

My brothers and sisters, we can be unbothered because those of us who trust in the Lord, we find trust, security, peace and prosperity.

- The Salvation of the righteous is from the Lord!

- The Lord is our strength in the time of trouble

- The Lord helps us and delivers us from the hand of the wicked.

After ten installments of the Quickword, I pray that you are Unbothered. Unbothered by the attacks against you. Unbothered by ineffectiveness of Courts and Legislative bodies from the federal, state and local levels who engage in political theater instead of pushing to make the lives of everyday citizens better. Unbothered by family and friends who didn't show up when you needed them the most. Unbothered by the rising prices and potential recession. Unbothered by supervisors and coworkers. I am unbothered because I've made up my mind that no matter what comes my way, I'm going to trust in the Lord until I die. So today and in the days to come I'm determined to be UNBOTHERED! I don't know what today or tomorrow will hold but I know who holds the entire world in His hands. I am simply Unbothered because of my faith in the risen Savior. His name is Jesus and He is Worthy to be praised!!!!
