Psalms 37:3-4
3 Trust in the Lord, and do good;
Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
4 Delight yourself also in the Lord,
And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Unbothered Pt. 2
Yesterday we started a series of Quickword's that I've entitled Unbothered. There comes a time in all of our lives when the enemy will attack us and try to steal our joy. I want to suggest that when the enemy comes that we simply remained unbothered. We cannot remained unbothered if we don't allow God to lead us in every aspect of our lives. If we are honest, there are some things we don't want to surrender to God. I'm speaking now from
my personal experiences, if you want to be unbothered:
Trust the Lord and do good
Dwell in the land and feed off of His faithfulness
Delight yourself also in the Lord.
Beloved it, we cannot be unbothered without the Lord, but when the Lord is on our side, come hell or high water we can simply be unbothered. This state of being unbothered is not by accident, but it comes from being intentional in our words, thoughts and actions. In other words we have to make up our minds that we are going to trust in the Lord, period. Trust in the Lord when things are going well, trust in the Lord when it seems as if everything is falling apart. If we trust, dwell and delight ourselves in the Lord we will be authentically Unbothered and the Lord will give us the desires of our hearts.
