Psalms 37:27-29

27 Depart from evil, and do good;

And dwell forevermore.

28 For the Lord loves justice,

And does not forsake His saints;

They are preserved forever,

But the descendants of the wicked shall be cut off. 29 The righteous shall inherit the land,

And dwell in it forever.

Quickword: Unbothered Pt. 7

Synonyms for unbothered are calm, happy, unanxious, and secure. There are some actions that we can take that can help us on this journey call life to be unbothered. Yet we recognized to truly be unbothered we must lean and depend on the Lord:

  • Depart from evil and do good

  • The Lord loves Justice and does not forsake the Saints

  • The righteous shall inherit the land and dwell forever.

I don't pretend that life even as believers in Christ will be easy; but what I am assured of is that we can be unbothered (calm, happy, unaxious and secure) when we put our trust in the Lord. As many of us start a new work week, or school week, let us walk into the week unbothered. There are some whose goal today and this week will be to do us harm, yet we are reminded that even in this text that not only the wicked but also the descendants of the wicked will be cut off. As the Saints of God, take comfort today and in the days to come in knowing that we will be preserved forever,
