Psalms 37:37-38
37 Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.
38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together; The future of the wicked shall be cut off.
Quickword: Unbothered Pt. 9
I spent a considerable amount of time in line on Tuesday to cast by ballot for the 2022 midterm elections. I don't know of a more consequential election that I have witnessed in my lifetime. All across this nation there are congressional and Govenors races that will shape the course of America. While I stood in line, I could only think of those who came before me, those who were denied the right to vote. I also remember those who gave their lives so that I have a voice with my ballot. There are forces who are trying to exert their power and take away freedoms that are ours by birth and others won through the blood, sweat and tears of others. As I come to the next to last post in this series of being unbothered. I grateful to the Lord for His mark being upon us.
The blameless man is marked by his actions
The future of the blameless man is peace
The future of the wicked shall be cut off
My brothers and sisters, I cast my ballot today but I'm unbothered because I know regardless of who sits in the Whitehouse, Congress and Governor's mansion across this land, God is still sovereign. I'm unbothered because Jesus is still King of kings and Lord of lords. I implore you to vote but more importantly, I encourage you to hold to God's unchanging hands. It is in His presence that we can find peace and be unbothered!
