Today as a result of the circumstances of life, even as believers in Christ, doubt sometimes creeps into our consciousness. Perhaps you didn’t get the job or promotion that you wanted. Maybe doubt has come because you prayed that you are your loved one would be healed and it has not come to fruition. Doubt is at the forefront because even after your best efforts, the relationship seems to be coming to an end. Whatever challenges you may be facing, today‘s Quickword is just a reminder that what God has for you is for you.

My beloved brothers and sisters , no matter your current outlook, praise God! You May ask why shoukd I praise the Lord. I want to suggest that we praise Him because What God has for you is for you and what God has for me is for me. We are so distracted by what we perceive that God is doing for others that we miss what He is doing for us right now. I am blessed and encouraged even as I listen in the quiet and darkness of morning as the rain and wind blow in the midst of a winter storm. The storm winds may be blowing in our lives even now but take comfort in knowing that the Lord is great, He is the Lord of Lord and He does what He pleases. What God has for you and for you and you it is for you! The Lord does as He pleases. I echo the sentiments of Psalmist “ I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread“. What God has for you is for you!
